How the Rain Skirts are made.
Before:
Tents are picked for recycling at festivals. They are washed. They are cut. The fabric is ironed.
Halfway:
The material is cut to specific design. Belt, buckles, tape, velcroes, toggles are selected to fit and flair.
Sewing can begin. Fingers crossed that the sewing machine will feel fit.
The Rain Skirt is waterproofed with NikWax to resist Belfast Rain.
